Ministry Transformation Lab
The structure and support you need to innovate
Our 18-month Ministry Transformation Lab emphasizes process over product.
What makes a Ministry Transformation Lab unique?
More Than an Idea
Innovation that’s rooted in one ministry idea might create change for a season. Innovation rooted in a new process for developing ministry can be replicated again and again. Our Theological Innovation Process emphasizes the long game, not quick fixes. You’ll journey with a team of people from your faith community for 18 months as you develop, test, and launch a new ministry.
Learn to Listen
Your team will learn a new process for developing innovative ministries that’s rooted in listening deeply to the needs and assets present in your community and to the Holy Spirit. Then you’ll prototype ministry ideas in your context.
Reflect Theologically
Rather than simply a shiny new idea, innovation in your ministry must be led by the Holy Spirit. Throughout the Theological Innovation Process, your Innovation Team will reflect theologically so that God and transformed lives remain front and center.
Journey With Others
Your Innovation Team will be surrounded by the support and guidance you need to innovate faithfully without becoming stressed out or overwhelmed. You’ll experience encouragement and regular coaching from the Lab staff as your team reimagines ministry in your unique context.
The next Ministry Transformation Lab launches in Janurary 2025

“Unlike a committee meeting where I often leave drained from just getting stuff done, I leave each innovation meeting energized, feeling like I truly am doing the ministry God has called me to do. And I can say with confidence that my team feels the same way. We often don’t want our meetings to end because we are doing such good and Kingdom-minded work.” – Paige Bach, Director of Next Generation Ministries, Providence Presbyterian Church
