Job Application
Use our Ministry Application to apply to multiple ministry jobs on our job board at once. The Ministry Application will help you find churches, camps, and non-profit organizations that are a good match for you, including location and theological fit. Once you fill out the Ministry Application, you can select the jobs you want to apply for from our job board.
Residency Application
Minstry Residency Program
The Residency Graduate or Certificate programs require an additional Residency Application. Once you have been accepted to the Residency program, our Job Placement team will work closely with you in your job search and help advocate for you with our partner churches and partner ministries until we have found the right place for you.
Partner Ministry Application

Our Partner Ministry program will help you search for your next leader. Please fill out a Partner Ministry Interest Form, and our Search Team will follow up with the next steps. We would be honored to help you find and equip your next leader.
Application Information
Ministry Application
The Ministry Application allows you to apply to multiple ministry jobs at one time. Once you have created your account and completed the application, you will be matched with a list of churches, non-profits, or camps that match your desired location, theology, and qualifications. Then, click the apply button for all the openings you are interested in.
Filling out your application takes some time. Be prepared by collecting this information before you begin:
- Last 3 Employers’ Information
- Address
- Dates of employment
- Supervisor and their contact information
- Resume
- Cover Letter

Other Jobs:
The Ministry Application can also contact you when new jobs that match your profile are posted. You can then evaluate if you would like to apply to them.
Ministry Residency Program Application
Admittance to the Center for Youth Ministry Training’s Residency Program is competitive. Upon acceptance to the Residency Program, CYMT staff will work with you to help you find a ministry job that enables and encourages your participation in the Graduate (MAYM) or Ministry Leadership Certificate program.
Step 1 – Complete Residency Application and Pay $25 Application Fee
Step 3 – Interview with CYMT
Step 4 – Apply for jobs through the Job Board
You will also need to gather:
- List of schools attended and dates
- Unofficial college transcripts
- Prepare answers to Biographical and Essay Questions
- References’ contact information
Deadline: The Residency program has a rolling admission. Accepted Residents will receive immediate help with their job search. Resident’s coaching begins immediately upon starting their job. Residents start the Graduate Residency or Ministry Leadership Certificate programs at the beginning of the next semester after finding a job.
Partner Ministry Program
CYMT will help you find your next leader and equip them for effective ministry. Apply to the Center for Youth Ministry Training’s Partner Ministry program. The Partner Ministry application involves completing an interest form and application. To be accepted, your church or ministry will complete a ministry survey and an interview with our staff. After you are accepted, CYMT will work with you to develop a candidate profile and help you search until you find the right leader. Then, we will train them and walk with your team over the next 2-3 years.
Step 1 – Submit Interest Form
Step 2 – Submit Partner Ministry Application
Step 3 – Pay the Application Fee of $350 (credited towards Ministry Staffing Service Fee if accepted)
A link to Partner Ministry application will be emailed to you after the staff has received and reviewed your interest from.
