We are a growing Lutheran Church in located just north of Houston. We have 30-35 active youth every week in our confirmation and high school youth group. You will be joining a fun staff that is not afraid to try new things, and we support one another in a failures and celebrate one another in our successes. The Church is growing in young families and we are in a beautiful and growing part of Texas. Our congregation surrounds our youth program with love and support and shows up for fundraisers, pray, and excitement for our youth and will be a great community for any youth director coming in. We are a progressive church with support for female pastors and leadership and the LGBTQ+ community.
Job Description:
Come join a dynamic staff in an evolving ministry environment as the Director of Youth Faith Formation at Lord of Life Lutheran Church ELCA in The Woodlands, TX (Just north of Houston, TX).
The Director will collaborate with faith formation staff and volunteers to grow youth disciples who connect faith and life. The Director is responsible for a comprehensive ministry that mentor’s youth in Confirmation (7th and 8th Grade), to High School Ministry, to college aged young adults and their families in worship, spirituality, witness, service, and community. This is a full time position with benefits.
Salary Range:
