Editor’s Note:  This post and resource was originally published on Apr 3, 2020, and has been revised and updated for continual application.

Holy Week is an important time in the Church.  While we can’t physically be with our youth and families, we can still resource them on their personal spiritual journeys as we all journey toward the Cross this Easter.  We’ve provided a Palm Sunday lesson for you to use with your youth online and 6 daily devotionals you can send to your students each day next week: Monday – Saturday of Holy Week.

How to use the daily devotionals:

  • If your students have limited access to technology and social media, consider emailing these to your students (or to the parents directly if your youth don’t have emails either) or drop off printed copies at their homes!

  • We’ve provided social media graphics for you to use if you’d like to engage your students with these devotionals online for an added element of connection and interaction.  Post the social media graphics and copy and paste the full devotional into the comments/post. Don’t forget to Invite your youth to share their completed “Challenges” from the devotional in the comments or using a hashtag you create!

  • You can also send out the devotionals in a group text or app and ask students to respond with their completed “Challenge!”!

Each devotional is editable so YOU can decide how best to use these with your youth!  Let us know how you used them and how your youth engaged during Holy Week in the comments below!
