Job Description:

A vibrant and connected Episcopal congregation with an eager community of families of all ages and stages is seeking a full-time Director of Children and Youth Ministries. Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Alexandria, VA is committed to its children and youth and seeks a leader who can implement a ministry to reach its vision. Ideally, this person has at least three years of ministry or education experience and will partner with clergy, staff, and volunteers to empower children and youth to grow in their faith, embracing their role in the parish and greater community while grounded in the traditions of the Episcopal Church. Interested candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, an ability to collaborate with a variety of others to achieve ministry goals, and well-grounded faith that can be shared effectively with young people.
