Donate to the Center for Youth Ministry Training
Invest in effective ministry so youth have the opportunity to experience the grace and love of Jesus Christ in their churches, homes, and communities.
One of the most effective ways to impact youth is to equip and prepare youth ministers, leaders, churches and communities to reach them.

Legacy gifts are a special way to provide long-term funding for CYMT. If you are interested in setting up a legacy gift, please contact Executive Director, Deech Kirk, for details.
Your gift develops innovative, effective, and theologically informed youth ministries.
Your gift directly impacts…
Your gift provides funds for developing modern resources for youth, parents, youth ministers, churches, nonprofits, and camps – all for the growth of the Kingdom of God.
Your gift directly impacts the lives of youth. CYMT programs and initiatives are all dedicated to providing training, education, and resources for the greater youth ministry community so that youth can experience the love of Jesus in their homes, schools, churches, and communities.
Communities of Faith
Your gift makes it possible for us to continue placing trained youth ministers in churches, camps, nonprofits, and campus ministries.
Your gift allows us to provide job placement, seminary training, and practical resources to those who have some of the most direct influence on the lives of young people. Youth ministers are given the tools to be able to build sustainable youth ministries and effectively live into their youth ministry calling.
Why Give to CYMT?
One of the reasons I serve on the board of the Center for Youth Ministry Training is my firm belief that faith in Christ is the most important resource we have to meet life’s challenges with patience and compassion. We have a blessed assurance that God’s loving guidance goes with us each day. Our world is facing some extremely difficult problems right now. CYMT’s impact on youth ministry is immeasurable as we provide an anchor for both youth ministers and youth as they navigate these turbulent waters. Our donors are critical partners, sharing in our mission to create lifechanging, transformational encounters with God for our young people, no matter what they are experiencing. Despite challenging times, CYMT is looking toward the future with great hope! Your partnership will lead the way and we are grateful for the investment you are making in the lives of young people as they grow in faith and follow Jesus Christ.

Stories of Impact
“I’m not sure I can articulate all the ways in which CYMT has positively impacted my ministry. CYMT has helped me learn organizational skills, which is often overlooked in youth ministry. The biggest impact CYMT has made is that it has given me a deeper theological perspective to youth ministry. There is purpose and theology to every aspect of youth ministry.”
– Skyler Jones, CYMT Graduate Residency alum 2015
“CYMT provides a safe community that offers an empathetic voice that says, “me too.” In the same way that we strive to surround our students to know and experience that they are not alone, CYMT reminds us that we are not alone in our jobs as youth ministers.”
-Anna Wheeler, CYMT Graduate Residency alum 2015
“A match made in heaven. We couldn’t have picked a better [youth minister] for our church.”
-Pastor David Luckert, Henderson UMC (CYMT Partner Ministry) about graduate resident, Josh Wardle
“When our ministry engages in our Innovation Lab exercises….I see what our ministry can look like in 5 years. And it feels like a total transformation.”
-Mark Bogart, Lead Innovator in CYMT Innovation Lab
“The experience [using Theology Together curriculum] helped me be more open-minded. The experience of our disorienting dilemma really opened my eyes and was really inspirational.”
-Breanna, student participant in Theology Together Collide experience
“Trinity UMC’s progression through the Innovation Lab illustrates that this process has impacts beyond the youth ministry at participating faith communities. The Innovation Team’s work has spurred a church wide re-visioning process that’s involved senior church staff and the wider congregation as they work toward broad culture change.”
Meghan Hatcher, Innovation Laboratory Director
“I invest in youth because I was invested into when I was a youth and it changed my life. Investing in youth isn’t just investing into the future, it is changing lives and the world right now.”
Nick Guerra, CYMT alum & board member
