Karnes City UMC - Karnes City, TX

Job Type: Full-Time   Posted: 2 months ago   Denomination: United Methodist

Church Description:

Karnes City UMC is in rural South Texas. We have a growing children’s & youth ministry, with potential for even more growth. In October our congregation will move into a brand-new worship space which will seat 240. This new building also includes an entire floor with large classrooms devoted to children & youth ministry. This congregation has a long history of supporting children’s and youth ministry with plenty of adult volunteers and enough finances to do great things. We share a parking lot with the local elementary school and are around the corner from the primary school – this has developed into a close relationship with the schools and a vital after-school program which averages 30 kids (many who are not connected to the church otherwise). We have an open invitation at the high school through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes sponsor (who is a member of our church). This congregation lives out their faith and wants to share the good new of God’s love with our neighbors.
