Associate Pastor to Youth and Families (Full-Time) – Newnan, GA

Central Baptist Church - Newnan, GA

Job Type: Full-Time

Denomination: Cooperative Baptist

Church Description:

Central Baptist Church is located in Newnan, GA, a small town comfortably south of Atlanta. We’ve been serving our community for more than 125 years from our downtown location just off the courthouse square filled with small businesses and local shops and restaurants. With a great school system, excellent public resources, easy access to Atlanta and the airport, and an unparalleled small-town feel, Newnan and Coweta County’s quality of life is second to none.

We enjoy great ecumenical relationships with our partner Catholic, Episcopal, Methodist, and Presbyterian churches and have strong age-group ministries for everyone from birth to senior adults. Our congregation is a great mixture of all age groups and of families who have lived in Newnan for generations as well as those new to our community.

Central is proud to be a place:

  • where all generations worship, grow, and serve together.
  • where women and men have equal opportunities for leadership.
  • where traditional worship is engaged with excellence.
  • and where diverse approaches to Christian faith and theology all find themselves at home under the lordship of Christ.

We have an extraordinary staff and ministry team who enjoy working together, and we are actively praying for God to send us the right person to round out our team as our new youth minister.
