Certificate in Youth Ministry
CYMT's Certificate in Youth Ministry program is a three-year process. Residents will take the following coursework to complete the certificate. In addition to the coursework, residents participate fully in the CYMT's coaching program as a part of the certification process. The CYMT Certificate in Youth Ministry certifies that graduatate residents have received not only the best education but also practical training and experience.
Certificate residents particpate in MTS's Masters of Arts degree classes with adjusted assignments. Certificate residents must successfully audit and pass the following courses:
Certificate in Youth Ministry Coursework:
Core Seminary: Old Testament, New Testament, Church History, Christian Beliefs, Evangelism, Formation for Ministry, and Mission of the Church
Youth Ministry Curriculum: Theological Foundations for Youth Ministry, Communicating the Gospel to Adolescents, Advanced Studies in Youth, Culture, and the Church, and Youth Ministers as Pastor and Leader
Practicum: 6 hours of CYMT supervised practicum
